Memorial Stone Process

We begin our consult by having you tell us about your loved one, and your vison for how you would like to memorialize them. We will work closely together to choose which type, size and color of monument to best memorialize your loved one while remaining respectful of your family’s budget. We can create a memorial you have fully envisioned, or give you added direction and advice.

It is critical to be aware that each cemetery has varying requirements and regulations for headstones including size, color and type of gravestone, along with installation regulations. We help you navigate these requirements, as we are aware of the regulations for most cemeteries in Arizona. If we are not familiar with your cemetery, we will do research to ensure your grave marker meets those requirements, and will often send a draft to your cemetery on your behalf to ensure their approval.

Once we have determined your preferred memorial marker, the next step is to create the design on our Monument Drawing Program (CAD). We will work together to the choose text, pictures and emblems that best memorializes your loved one. We have the ability to laser engrave photographs and images, create full color ceramic insets and even custom emblems.

Upon completion of your draft, we will email to you a full color computer image of your design for your family’s approval, along with your official price quote. You can approve the draft, or may make any revisions you would like. Once approved, production will begin.

The standard production time for the memorial gravestone industry can be up to three months depending on the type of monument, color, etc. Our goal is to cut this time down dramatically, usually within 30 days after final approval. We will keep you updated throughout the production period.

We can also install your monument and foundation if you would like, unless your cemetery requires that they do all installation. Should your cemetery require concrete foundations and/or other fees, we can quote these options at our consultation.

Before production begins, we will collect a 50% deposit and then the remaining balance upon completion of your monument.

We take great pride in our service and the craftsmanship of our monument products. We fully guarantee the quality of our memorials, monuments and grave markers, and provide a lifetime warranty on all material and craftsmanship.
